Rob Wilson Illustration: April 2011

I was born and raised in Southern Utah, always drawing what I could see. My MFA is in figurative painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and I started my career as a gallery painter. I had always loved literature, but in a bizarre twist of events I realized that I had stories inside me that needed to be written, and decided to go back to my roots, using my undergraduate BFA in illustration to work as an illustrator. I now draw what I see and what I imagine, hopefully bringing some joy to the children's books we love.

I love good books, my dog, a good movie, and I am a connoisseur of popcorn.
